The Beef Australia Commercial Cattle Competition is a permanent fixture on the Beef Australia calendar and presents an opportunity for commercial cattlemen and women to test their skills against the best in the country. The competition provides producers with a unique opportunity to benchmark their stock against national standards, to gather feedback from experienced judges, and identify areas where they can continue to improve to ensure our industry remains productive and profitable.
Droughtmasters have excelled in these classes in previous Beef events. We will be holding the inaugural Droughtmaster Cattle Championships in conjunction with Beef 2021, with traditional commercial cattle judging as well as some new classes.
Additionally, the Donovan Family of Duaringa Station feedlot has kindly made available space for (approximately) 500 Droughtmaster cattle to be prepared for Beef 2021, should you choose.
* To be eligible for the weight gain and profit maker class cattle must be prepared at Duaringa Station Feedlot. Cattle for other classes can be prepared at any location.
